As the founder of Singit Inc in South Africa and Canada, she has added entrepreneur, business woman, artist mentor and coach to her list of achievements.

Mia has become a true leader in developing and mentoring artists across all experience levels. Having been in the professional industry for some time, she has released five albums and nine singles released to radio. Her career highlights span achievements such as performing at Nelson Mandela’s 80th and 82nd birthdays, performing at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona (where she shared a stage with Bono from U2), as well as taking part in the ‘Rocking Future’ road show where she performed at over thirty schools in and around Johannesburg, South Africa, promoting anti-bullying in schools.

Mia ‘s focus now lies in growing her business Singit Inc, where students receive high quality coaching in contemporary vocal traditions. Singing gives individuals the space to express themselves channel their emotions. It is a place where people can live each song they sing … it’s an escape, and a safe place to learn about yourself and find your voice.

To sing is a gift ... so why not share it?

INSPIRE | TEACH | CREATE | SING

Singit professional vocal coaching focuses on developing foundational techniques from breathing and body posture, to vowel placement and the correct use of the jaw and neck muscles.

We work through a variety of scales and exercises that will strengthen a new singer’s technical foundation, or help a more experienced singer to further their own vocal production.  Singit ensures that each singer refines their vocal skill from technical knowledge, all the way through to delivery and presentation.

Singit acts not only as a vocal platform for both aspiring and professional singers, it offers them a space to explore their limits, push their boundaries, and overcome their singing fears.

Singing is such a personal thing, teaching us how to love the light and dark we all have within us. It has a way of bringing all our feelings to the service encouraging us to face our fears which in turn brings a new found strength we sometimes forget we have, through positive expression. Our main goal at Singit is to teach confidence through singing!

I don't sing because I'm happy ... I'm happy because I sing!
